At the heart of Oliver’s is a story of passion, dedication and a shared love for the culinary arts. It all began nearly a decade ago, when we - Dalton and Kimone - two aspiring food enthusiasts, crossed paths at the very store we now have the privilege to call our own. Back then, we were just co-workers, both deeply immersed in the world of fine foods, catering and the joy of bringing people together through great meals. Little did we know that our shared passion would eventually blossom into a lifelong partnership, both in business and in life.

 

Dalton’s journey into the world of culinary arts is one marked by years of rigorous training and hands-on experience. With studies from the prestigious Algonquin College, Dalton has spent over 15 years perfecting his craft, from the bustling kitchens of high-end restaurants to the intimate settings of private catering events, even pig roasts! His expertise as a butcher is unmatched and his commitment to quality shines through in every cut of meat, every carefully curated charcuterie board and every meal we prepare.

Kimone thoroughly enjoys cooking and creating new meals, perfecting them for customers’ delight. She is always experimenting with new recipes and refining old ones to make them even better while constantly striving to push the boundaries of what we can offer. Her love for party trays, charcuterie and grazing boards grew from a desire to create not just food, but experiences. There’s something incredibly satisfying about bringing together the finest local and handpicked ingredients and presenting them in a way that delights both the eyes and the palate.

 

Together, Dalton and I have made it our mission to elevate every meal, every gathering and every celebration. The pride we take in our work is evident in everything we prepare and we hope that it comes through in every bite you take. We believe in the power of food to bring people together and we are committed to providing our customers with only the best.
